# Generate/Replace Invoice

**PUT /api/billing/invoice/yard/{yardId}/carrier/{carrierId}/periodCode/{periodCode}**

Generates the invoice for the provided yard, carrier and period. This can take long if the number of movements is high. If an invoice already exists for the given parameters, it will be replaced with the newly generated invoice. If the invoice doesn't really need to get updated, please use `GET` and `POST` methods, an invoice will be returned instantly if it is already generated, and can be generated otherwise
